Blackiston Boys Academy- everyone welcome to visit

We had our first visitors today at our school. It was so fun to have my friend April and her 3 children. I met April at a playground almost a year ago. I spotted her from a mile away because she had 3 kids the same ages as mine. I don't see many of those moms because I think they are all in the insane asylum. I was immediately determined to be friends with her. She really had no choice. We have been friends ever since. I LOVE being with her and her kids. When our kids are older I am actually going to let her oldest, Addie, pick which one of my boys she wants to marry. I will fix their hair and line them up with numbers on their shirts.

Praying for the day.
How sweet are they?

She is a total smarty-pants too.

(those are pattern blocks- you can get them at the school supply store.)

Reece is really good at these because he is so analytical.

Addie wanted to learn the verse. She is a great reader.

Aaron and Lake.
Aaron can say the books of the Old Testament. I can't even do that anymore! He is 3. It was so cool watching Reece teach Addie.

Craft time.

The goal was to make a sail-boat out of a cucumber. Because I had so many kids, I had to cut the cucumbers in half. That doesn't work- use the whole thing if you want to try this. Get a cucumber, hollow some of it out like a canoe, have your kids decorate a flag (make it much smaller than ours or it will tip over), and stick it in with a toothpick. Then they can race them in a creek and see who wins. The kids loved it even though it didn't work. I know what to do next time.

Very fun even if they didn't float.

Lake and Audrey are two "monkeys" in a pod.
Bubba's flag- red is his favorite color.

We even made 2 for the babies.
Audrey wanted to use her cucumber as a teether.

See that you do not look down on one of these little ones. For I tell you that their angels in heaven always see the face of my Father in heaven."
Matthew 18:10

one of my all-time favorite verses!!!!
Their angels are constantly beholding the face of the Father.
How God loves them!!!!
