"That I may know Him, and the power of His resurrection" Philippians 3:10

Happy Easter!
From me, Tim and our 3 Easter eggs.

My parents came and we had a wonderful time celebrating at Church (WOW--Lookout Valley Baptist!!! what a blessing it was to us to be there today! Tim's dental assistant sang there today and BROUGHT THE HOUSE DOWN!!! Listen to Revelation song 2nd from end of my playlist) and then

Tim cooked an Easter meal. I did none of this. I had no idea he cooked when I married him.

It was gorgeous today and perfect weather so we ate on the back porch.

May you be blessed today and may you know HIM and the power of His resurrection!! Praise God that He was obedient unto death and took our punishment so that we may be called children of God.

Forever Grateful to Jesus Christ...

pause the music to hear our "Easter verse".

"After the Sabbath, at dawn on the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to look at the tomb.
There was a violent earthquake, for an angel of the Lord came down from heaven and, going to the tomb, rolled back the stone and sat on it.
His appearance was like lightning, and his clothes were white as snow.
The guards were so afraid of him that they shook and became like dead men.
The angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified.
He is not here; he has risen, just as he said.

Come and see the place where he lay."

I don't know what's sweeter...your precious boy reciting scripture...or the sight of him so caught up in playing with his mommy's beautiful hair??

And I have to say, your porch is a DREAM! A photographer's dream...and entertainer's dream...a prayer warrior's dream! :) Awesome!!

Love the family pics! We also sang the "Revelation Song" at WPBC Sunday morning! How ironic is that? I'm sure we'll be singing it a lot more. It's a very worshipful song. Glad you had a blessed Easter. said...

All of my kids memorized this for Easter too! It's the perfect Easter verse!!!
