"Let the LIGHT of your face shine upon us,O Lord."
Psalm 4:6
"He wraps himself in LIGHT as with a garment"
Ps 104:2
"...let us walk in the LIGHT of the Lord."
Isaiah 2:5
"that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called
you out of darkness into His marvelous LIGHT."
1 Peter 2:9
We are praying so much for baby Jonah. I took these pictures to send to his mommy as she cries out to God to heal her precious baby boy whom she cannot even hold.
I let the boys see Jonah's pictures and explained to them that this isn't our home and that people get sick here. Mommies, Daddies, babies.
That we have to pray HARD while we are here for people who suffer.
GOD HEARS OUR PRAYERS.

Yesterday, Reece said to me, "momma, can you see heaven in your imagination?" I said, "Not really because anything I imagine is not as wonderful as heaven." I said, "can you?" He said, "yes". I said "what do you see?". Very matter-of-factly, he said, "I see Jesus being born".
As I let that sink in for a second, I realized the truth in it. That IS how we should see heaven until we get there. Heaven, as I know it now, is that God sent His Son for us so that we can never taste death.

That is how I want to see heaven! Not streets of gold or pearly gates... but that God sent his one and only Son into the world that we might LIVE through Him (1 John 4:9)! He came for us- to rescue us, to love us, to spend eternity with us in a place where there is no NICU. I wanted Reece to tell me more about heaven but that is all he said.
"Jesus spoke again to the people, he said,
'I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life'.”
John 8:12

How wonderful Steph. This brought tears to my eyes. It brought back memories of those who were on their knees for my Jackson and how much I will always love them for it...thank you for doing this for that sweet Mommy and her precious Jonah.
What sweet boys you have Steph! They are blessed to have a such a wonderful Godly momma teaching them! I know Jonah's mommy is going to love seeing the pictures of your boys praying for him.
oh...your boys are getting some pretty good air! :) you're so sweet to let them jump on your bed!
Steph, you are doing such a wonderful job raising your boys and teaching them to raise their voices in Prayer. I LOVE children's hearts because they are so pure and innocent and they LOVE without question. We will be praying for little Jonah too.
Love the pictures, Steph. And how beautiful to take those to share with Jonah's mom. I've been praying for that sweet baby...precious.
(I love the picture above your bed of all of your feet - that is soo sweet!!!)
The pictures of your boys on their knees in prayer for another child is just incredibly touching. You have made my night!
Stephanie,
I've been on my knees for baby Jonah a lot lately too. May God bless and heal that sweet, precious child and give strength & peace to his mom and dad.
I love all of your pictures. I love the boys jumping on the bed & the one above the bed of the feet....so cute! But, my favorite and the one that brought tears to my eyes in the picture of the boys on their knees praying for Jonah.
The faith of children is so precious. Thanks for sharing. I would love to post that picture on my blog if you give me permission.
Love the music too. El Shaddai is on of my favorites.
I look forward to visiting often. You have a great blog!
Have a blessed weekend.
