Great is Thy Faithfulness!


Here are some pictures of the boys' room completed. It has been finished for a while now and we are LOVING it. The boys love being together and hang out up there a lot.
That verse from Romans has been on their door for ages.
"These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts.
Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads.
Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates."
Deut 6:6-9
Just had their verses painted on yesterday.





Lake was surprisingly easy to transfer. He has been sleeping in there for months now. He loves it. Although, he usually shows up in our bed sometime in the night. Ughhh. I am always too lazy to take him back to bed so I get kicked in the head all night long.







Love reading to them here at night. Tim usually does it. I hope these are the memories that they talk about to their children some day.





We had a fancy dinner party at our house last weekend. Our anniversary is coming up and we invited friends over who have either invested in our marriage or been examples to us. It was SO fun. A lot of work but very fun. Tim did the cooking and dishwashing. I did the housecleaning/decorating and girly stuff. We are so blessed to have such amazing friends. I wish I had a picture of me. My tummy looked huge in my black dress.




















Ahhhh. Romance! I am so thankful I have been married to Tim for 8 years. I have a HUGE crush on him.

The boys have been begging me to sleep in Hope's room. I am letting them take turns sleeping in there until she gets here. It is so cool to see how much they already love her. Her room has become Grand Central Station.







Had these verses written in her room and I LOVE THEM!!!! It makes it so peaceful to be surrounded by the Word of God. All these verses have the word HOPE in them.












































Her middle name is officially Elizabeth. :)











Our guest room where I will be living for the first month or so after she is born so Tim can get some sleep (with Lake-lol). This is where you can sleep if you ever come visit us!



























































School. Homeschool is not for the weak at heart. My main objective for them is to build character and to teach them HOW TO HOLD STILL.
We are having so much fun learning together. There has only been one day I called all the local schools to see if I could drop them off immediately. That was the first day back after Christmas break. 99.9% of the time I would not want to be anywhere else in the world than sitting with them at that table. What a blessing homeschool has been.

I have taught the boys PILES of Scripture by the power of cheeseball.















Well, nothing too exciting happening. No more scares but my bag is packed. I am getting really tired and hormonal as I near the end. I am hoping to simplify my life as much as possible these last few weeks. That is not easy with the boys. They don't "chill out at home" very well. They need to be on the go... and Tim and I do too. So, being home too much stresses me out too. Oh well, I will figure it out but I am TIRED.
I have lots of friends coming in town this weekend for a baby shower. I am very excited about it. Not because of presents but because it is basically a party to celebrate my baby girl's life and the goodness of God.
Thank you for how you have walked this road with me. Looking back and reading some of my blog posts during the middle of the storm in my life and seeing how faithful God has been is just precious. And, I have had all of you to walk with me, pray for me and encourage me! Please continue to pray that God would bless my health after I deliver.
The doctors are coming up with different approaches to how to handle this and we are trying to use as much worldly wisdom as we can but basically I must continue to pray and trust the Lord.
So, thank you for any prayers for my health.

First of all, congratulations on your anniversary and celebrating it with those who have impacted the journey you and your husband have taken in your marriage.

Second, I LOVE the boys room , that is such a wonderful room for rough and tumble boys. I also love your daughter Hope's room and I think it is so funny how the boys are taking turns sleeping in there until she arrives. Good luck in the coming days, I pray that God safely delivers your daughter into your arms soon.

So excited for your family ~ don't know you personally but feel like I do, and it's such a blessing.

Have you watched or listened to John Piper's January 10th sermon (desiringgod.org)? Surely you'll appreciate and admire what he does in it after the opening prayer!!

the boys room is incredible! i'd like to have a room like that! and hope's room is just beautiful! did someone actually write/paint the verses on the walls or did you order it? and last but not least...your maternity pictures are gorgeous!
