Some soup for YOU!

If you are like me, then you are FROZEN in this cold weather. I finally found a good creamy chicken soup recipe and it is EASY! I doubled the recipe and everyone loved it. It is like having Panera at home. Get some sourdough rolls to dip in it. Your kiddos will like it as will your hubby.
Chicken Wild Rice Soup
5 2/3 cups water
1 package (4.3 ounces) long grain and wild rice mix
1 envelope chicken noodle soup mix
1 celery rib (chopped)
1 medium carrot (chopped)
1/3 cup chopped onion
2 cans cream of chicken soup (I only put 3 in when I doubled it and it was perfect)
1 cup cubed cooked chicken
In large saucepan, combine the water, rice with contents of seasoning packet and soup.
Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 10 minutes. Stir in celery, carrot and onion.
Cover and simmer 10 minutes. Stir in chicken soup and chicken. Cook 8 minutes longer or until the rice and vegetables are tender.
** Serve with mint Oreos for dessert :)

YUM! YUM!

I can't wait to try that recipe! Please tell me how you let go of the crazy things boys do??? I'm expecting my second baby in 5 weeks (or less, I hope) and the picture of Bubba and Reece climbing in Lake's crib (and obviously piling a bunch of other stuff in there too) would make me crazy! Please tell me how you let it go?

I saw the words PANERA and my eyes perked..can't wait to try that..as all I think about is food (due to no kitchen and being pregnant! by the way I never responded to you when you asked how I was feeling..I am feeling great but ready to be done. done. done! I have another ultrsound on the 25th...very excited). Adore the pictures and the prayers. So wish I had the time to do the call for the bible study. However I am hooked on reading everything I can soak in via blog. Praying for your health! and look forward to all your posts for sneaks of your precious life with a fabulous support team.

Look at Lake jump! Too cute! Great pics as always! Oh, and all the boys piled in the crib makes me think of Rebekah. She does the same thing in Joshua's crib. The other day I found her and Joshua in there together playing. Both were lying down all scrunched playing possum.

I made the soup, thanks to Alison texting me the ingredients while I was at the store, and it was so yummy, and warm, and comforting!! Thanks, the 13 degree morning doesn't seem so bad now.

Brooklynn watched this video over and over and over and over......."baby Lake mommy, Baby Lake." She loves babies- as long as they stay out of her toys!
