A photo shoot with 3 Monkeys.

Taking pictures of my boys is SO hard. Only because of Lake. He hates wearing clothes... period. He cannot hold still long enough for my camera to focus. But, I got some pretty cute ones and you can see their personalities shining through these. You can also see I persuaded him with a sucker.
We are home now and back in a construction zone of builders and dry-wallers. Not making a lot of progress around here and I can't wait to have order in my house again. Will take pictures soon of the progress.

If you have never been to Rosemary Beach or Seaside, FL, you should definitely look into it. It is breathtaking in every way. Architecture, ocean color, white sand, sunsets, etc... We have been going there for years and are always blown away by it. My favorite time to go is October. The weather is perfect. No one is there and butterflies are everywhere. I just love being cozied up with my little family in the condo for a week at a time. No distractions... just us and God's majestic creation.
I take my box of homeschool materials and off we go.

These next pictures crack me up.
They are, um, SO THEM!!
People ask us all the time where Lake got his curly hair. My response:
"It came with his personality as a package deal". His hair matches him. He would not be his wild self without that wild hair. I just love God's creativity.
If I survive Lake being 2, it will be a miracle.
He is so busy and his goal in life is to run away from us.
He brings so much joy to our family. We are constantly doubled over laughing at him... and the more we laugh... the crazier he gets.

One of my best friends, Jennie. Due at exactly the same time as me with her 4th... A GIRL.
We are going to have so much fun being pregnant together.

Wow. These pictures of your wonderful boys sure do make me want another boy!
My husband and I have been absolutely exhausted by our 2-year- old son recently. We are very familiar with the running away thing-- in parking lots, shopping malls, down driveways, up driveways, whew! But these pics sure are selling me on the idea of more boys!!!

LOVE the pictures, especially the last ones! Your Lake reminds me so much of my Eli! He is the light of our family. When I had my ultrasound of Eli, the nurse captured a picture of him with a smile on his face! It was amazing. I laughed because I knew God was telling me that even though he was another boy, he was going to make me smile...my whole life. So far, Eli is true to form.
Just like the photos of Lake, Eli likes to grab our faces and say, "Look at me." He also told me this week that he had a headache in his bottom! Cracks me up! Glad you had a wonderful vacation.
Blessings,
Traci
Your boys are precious! They would have a ball with my boys!

Such spunk in those precious little faces!

Makes me so sad for people who are choosing not to have children...they just don't know what they're missing out on.

Sooner or later I am going to get a week scheduled on that calendar of yours. We only had beach time this year with about 30 teenagers for our Youth Retreat and that was NO vacation...but a thrill to be a part of their growing in the Lord. I love all the pics...Lake giving away Zurberts (that is what we call them) SO GREAT!

I ran across your blog a while back and enjoy reading...you are such an inspiration. Your latest post cracked me up! I have two boys and my youngest (2 1/2) looks so much like your youngest it is scary. I know what you mean about the curly hair!! I haven't updated my blog in a LONG time so I don't have recent pictures but their looks and personality seem to be very similar! They are such a joy :)

I found you on Divine Caroline.

Great photos, and such a beautiful family! I pray God richly blesses you with your heart's desire in this little one you are carrying...be it boy or girl.

Blessings!

P.S. Love your thoughts on curly hair and wildness...that is so true of me...I have always been a passionate person...sometimes people love me for it, sometimes people give me odd looks. One thing's for sure, I'm never boring! ;)
