Before the Sting.

Single Girls~
Two Words:
1. Pray
2. Wait

As you can tell, WE LOVE THE BEACH. I have often wondered if this place somehow missed the sting of "The Fall" (Genesis) because it is so beautiful.... but then I see ANOTHER snake. I have seen two this trip. Why am I the one who always sees them? My boys are allowed to say hate about two things... "I hate sin" or "I hate snakes". Last year I saw a huge RED snake. I almost had a heart attack as it was on the side walk right in front of me.
The Florida Panhandle is absolutely breath-taking but the effect of sin has still taken its toll. These pictures were taken seconds before Bubba was stung by a jellyfish. It must have wrapped itself around him because it got his arm and his whole side. We soaked him in vinegar and he is doing much better. Not sure either of the boys will ever go back into the ocean after that episode... so these may be the last pictures of them surfing.
I cannot wait to see how beautiful things are after Jesus comes back, the sting of sin removed and earth is redeemed.
Check out these verses for a cool study...
"The creation waits in eager expectation for the sons of God to be revealed.
For the creation was subjected to frustration, not by its own choice, but by the will of the one who subjected it, in hope
that the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the glorious freedom of the children of God.
We know that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time."
Romans 8:19-22
Can you imagine what it looked like here before the curse of sin fell and tainted everything with death?
---------------------------------------
I love being together with my family. I pretty much eat and eat and eat... and then sleep and sleep and sleep... and then wake up hungry. We brought our "school-in-a-box" and homeschool during the days. My mom was here last week but left today. We miss her so much. Tim and I went on a date last night. That was a total treat.
It doesn't feel like October here. It feels like August. It is hot!!! But, wonderful. We have so many amazing memories from the beach. What a blessing to be able to come!
Have a wonderful week!!
Steph
"Stand up and praise the LORD your God, for he lives from everlasting to everlasting!.... Praise his glorious name! It is far greater than we can think or say.You alone are the LORD. You made the skies and the heavens and all the stars. You made the earth and the seas and everything in them. You preserve and give life to everything, and all the angels of heaven worship you.
Nehemiah 9:5,6

It looks beautifully WARM!

...and from where I'm sitting, well, let's just say I'm repeating over and over to myself, "Thou shall not covet, thou shall not covet, thou shall not covet..."
