6 Days Old: Wakin' Up is Hard to Do

My favorite picture yet. Took this of Reece today.

Smiling in her sleep while getting some Vitamin D through the window.

More smiles. It is hard to get pictures of these because they come and go so fast. I wonder what they see... Angels? Jesus? Heaven?
"From the lips of... infants you have ordained praise.."
Psalm 8:2
"You are good, and what you do is good"
Psalm 119:68

My mom. Why does she have a job when we need her full-time??

God has calmed my storm and caused the waves of the sea to be hushed. He has guided me to my desired haven and I will never stop praising Him. He has given me the desires of my heart and heard my prayers.
We are praying Psalm 91 over me for my health during the next couple of weeks. Would love for you to join us in asking and believing God to protect me from getting sick again.
God is faithful. Not just to me, TO YOU. He will calm your storm. He will cause your raging waves to be still. Keep praying. Do not give up. His plans for you are good. You can trust Him. Even in the darkness.
Read this old post tonight and praised God for His faithfulness and for answered prayer. It was exactly 1 year ago.
Little did I know that God was moving on my behalf.

"Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble, and he brought them out of their distress. He stilled the storm to a whisper; the waves of the sea were hushed. They were glad when it grew calm, and he guided them to their desired haven. Let them give thanks to the Lord for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for men. "
Psalm 107:28-31

I believe babies are fresh from heaven and that they sleep so much because in their dreams, they are seeing that world they just came from. She's so beautiful and you're so lucky to have a daughter. God bless your beautiful family!

Here is my AMEN. I loved that story. I had 7 deliveries, none of which were natural. Back years and years ago you got a whiff of gas at the near the end and that was it. I knew no difference, I do not like that and thank goodness they don't do that anymore. Your angel is precious. I just popped over from Grammy's place. Blessings to you.
